Oh, I make fun of it. There's a lot that I think is lame about it, and I don't think it's even in the running for most romantic movie, but I do own the book and the movie. As for the "Love means never having to say you're sorry" line, that's just ridiculous. I swear I saw an interview with John Lennon in which he makes fun of it, but I can't find it on Youtube. Speaking of John Lennon, I like Matt Ashford not going with a cheesy pop song, though I think the most romantic Beatles song is "I Will" (or maybe "In my Life"). And The Notebook? Gag. I love this (you might not like it so much if you're a Nicholas Sparks fan): http://www.cracked.com/funny-4725-nicholas-sparks/ |

I'd say it's between "In My Life" (my choice for a love song for grownups) and "Something." |

^Yeah, the spouse and I danced to "In my Life" at our wedding. "Something" is nice too. |

I enjoyed Burnett's dig too  . I don't blame Mansi and Brown for their responses. Mansi probably only researches her character's history. She's only been on the show for nearly a year while Burnett has been around for 4 years and interacted with so many characters and their stories. Brown has only been around for a few months and clearly is just hyping her storyline with her answers. I was more interested in her letting it slip that Madison was protecting someone she loves. That is clearly a spoiler slip, which clearly refers to Brady and something that is upcoming. Clark and Muldoon were great with their answers. |

My most romantic Days scene: JnJ screaming at airplanes. Such a lovely little scene, and it's so true to life for young newlyweds still getting to know their partner's history. PM just sounds jaded when it comes to Valentine's Day. LOL Also, I CANNOT listen to "Wonderful, Wonderful" anymore. The X-Files completely ruined that song for me. |

I love that they have that nickname for John and Marlena...it's perfect! Very cute that a lot of Christie and Patrick's answers matched up to each other's. I definitely agree with The Notebook. It's one of my favorite romantic movies and seems to be popular with a lot of people. Also love Christie's pizza theme she has going on...gotta agree with that...nothing beats a good pizza! :pizza: Fun reading this Q&A with some of the cast. :) |

Nothing says "romance" like a song about the civil rights riots (Matt Ashford). I love that he chose the 'Wonderful, Wonderful' scene! I had totally forgotten about it until a couple months ago and when I watched it again; it still brought a tear to my eye, especially after asking Jenn if she was going to ask him for a divorce if she won :( **Points for Kate Mansi for choosing Harold & Maude. |

I know! All I ever see is those 3 mutant brothers going off in their cadillac to bludgeon the sheriff and his wife to death. Edited by Dany_E, Feb 14 2012, 03:18 PM.

Aww, Christie and Patrick - your love for J&M (or, as you prefer, Strawberries & Cream) makes me love you. John and Marlena ARE the most romantic couple in DAYS history. They can get romantical like nobody's beeswax! |

I love that Patrick and Christie have so many similar answers! I wondered if they were sitting next to each other when they answered, LOL. Patrick seems to be a bit of a pessimist or realist, depending on how you slice it. Who wants to go change his mind? ;) I snorted a Molly's dig at those who think she doesn't know her history. I'd probably be the same way. People think I don't know my Days history because I'm young and it can be annoying. You go Molly! Never thought I'd say that....but she won me over with sports and a concert. Take me to a Cardinals game and I'm yours forever. I laughed at the Bradison response. If my first thought is "who?" then they probably aren't romantic. Bed buddies =/= romance. |

Aww! TFP. "Wonderful, Wonderful!" was such a cute scene because Jack went way out of his comfort zone to try to win Jennifer back. It was nice to see how she melted about half-way through his off-key rendition. And you have to admit that the evening ended very romantically under the covers on that "One Stormy Night." (It also was the night Abby was conceived.) The answer about Atticus missing his wife brought a lump to my throat. So sweet! "We're all romance all the time" has to be one of the most unromantic phrases ever uttered. :hmmph: |
